La Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas dio a conocer este jueves la lista de nominados a los Premios Oscar 2026, ceremonia que reconocerá a lo mejor del cine mundial el próximo 15 de marzo en el Teatro Dolby.
Tras la entrega de los Globos de Oro, ya se perfilaban algunas favoritas a Mejor Película, entre ellas Una batalla tras otra, protagonizada por Leonardo DiCaprio, y Hamnet, dirigida por Chloé Zhao y encabezada por Paul Mescal.
No obstante, esta edición incorpora una novedad relevante con la creación de la categoría Mejor Casting, que distinguirá la mejor elección de elenco. Se trata de una categoría considerada “técnica” que hasta ahora no existía en los premios.
En cuanto al volumen de candidaturas, las producciones con más nominaciones fueron Sinners, protagonizada por Michael B. Jordan, y Una batalla tras otra. Muy cerca quedaron Marty Supreme y Hamnet.
